I've been a coffee aficionado before it was cool to be one. Coastal Peaks is as good as it gets. I'm partial to dark roasts so Muddy Waters is my go-to roast from Coastal Peaks. Oh, and Go Dodgers. Moondog.

This coffee has got quite the reputation - thankfully, they ship to my neck of the woods. I ordered Coastal Peaks Coffee's Garden Blend - it arrived quickly and the beans were roasted fresh. I tried it out in a French Press and it made for a good brew. Shipping is a somewhat pricey $10 flat rate, but it's still worth a go if you're not in SLO.

A top-tier SLO coffee shop. So many reasons why. Their organic coffee is rich, smooth and delicious. Drink options are plentiful, as are milk-alternatives. Today I enjoyed one of their seasonal drinks with satisfyingly creamy oat milk. Mmm... so good. The shop's interior is comfortably elegant: dark walls, reclaimed wood elements, greenery, and subdued sunlight creating an interesting contrast between light and shadow. Pretty much a perfect spot for deep, solitary thought, intense study, cultured conversation, or not speaking at all while looking over a steaming cup of coffee into someone else's eyes.

First had coastal peaks black rabbit organic coffee with my meal at Eureka burger and it was so smooth and satisfying! When I went into the location my wife and I ordered a Carmel latte and checked in for the free small coffee (awesome check in offer- that's what brought us in) the latte was so smooth and delicious.
